Makers Academy is a 12 week computer programming bootcamp in London. It was founded by Rob Johnson and Evgeny Shadchnev in December 2012 〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Makers Academy )〕 and is designed to turn people with no knowledge of web development into job-ready junior developers in 12 weeks. ==Programme== Makers Academy take students with little or no experience in computer programming〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Cracking the code: What is Makers Academy? )〕 and teaches them the fundamentals of web development. The aim is to help students develop the necessary skills to secure a role as a junior developer upon graduation. The course covers professional web development technologies such as Ruby on Rails, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, SQL, Ajax and softer skills including Object-oriented design, Test Driven Development, Agile Methodology and version control with Git. As of Dec 2014, Makers Academy have introduced a 4 week, part-time, online 'pre-course' which students are expected to complete before starting the main course. The program eschews the traditional, didactic learning model for a "learn by doing" approach, achieved largely through self-directed, project-based work. Students are encouraged to work in pairs on practical coding challenges, with weekly tests, culminating in a final project which is presented to hiring partners on "Graduation Day".〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Women in Tech & Makers Academy Graduation - Shoreditch Works )〕 Makers Academy claim a 100% success rate in getting graduates into jobs as junior developers. Makers Academy runs from 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday, for 12 weeks, and a new course starts every 6 weeks. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Makers Academy」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
